Volunteer Opportunities

THE FOREST NEEDS YOU

The SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS LAND TRUST relies heavily on the dedicated help of volunteers to achieve on-going protection of our threatened forest lands. In fact, apart from our professional staff, the organization is run entirely by volunteers. You too can be part of the most vital and valiant conservation effort on the mountain. If you have some extra time and energy, please consider some of the opportunities below.

More volunteers are needed in three areas: thrift shop, office type work, and public events. The Land Trust needs a recording secretary, additional people to assist with special events, and reinforcements to help at mailing-preparation parties. Also the Outreach Committee seeks more members to help with publicity.

The stronger the Land Trust support system is, the more land we are able to protect. Come, enjoy the camaraderie and help make a lasting difference for the future of our forest.

For questions or more information, call Peter Jorris at (909) 867-3536 or email  at pjorris@verizon.net or email our info email address at sbmlt.com

Please fill-in the Volunteer Response Form and mail it to the San Bernardino Mountains Land Trust:  P.O. Box 490.  Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.
